Soundproofing the floor

Soundproofing the floor will protect your neighbors below from impact noise caused by stomping feet, moving furniture, etc.

Depending on the tasks that the soundproofing of the floor should solve, soundproofing materials and structures are used:

«FLOATING» SOUNDPROOF FLOOR

Simple design. Depending on the material - protection only from impact or from impact and airborne noise. Long installation (wet processes are present). A large selection of materials, allowing you to choose the optimal level of protection. The lowest cost per m2.

  • Sound insulation index from 20 to 40 dB
  • Structure thickness from 90 to 140 mm

SOUNDPROOFING UNDER PARQUET, LAMINATE, OTHER FINISHING COATING

Protection ONLY from impact noise. High installation speed. Dry work, no need to wait for the screed to dry. Relatively low level of protection. Soundproofing underlay (Akuflex) is laid on the screed. The finishing coat (parquet, laminate) is applied over the underlay.

  • Sound insulation index no more than 20 dB
  • Structure thickness from 4 to 20 mm

SOUNDPROOFING OF FLOOR ON LOGS

The best soundproofing option for a wooden house. Protection against impact and airborne noise. High installation speed. Dry work, no need to wait for the screed to dry.

  • Soundproofing index up to 30 dB
  • Additional airborne noise insulation (8-10 dB)
  • Structure thickness - two layers of plywood, 18 mm thick each
